Introduction

The University of Idaho is participating in the Recyclemania event for the first time.  With several different types of groups working together, we are trying to enhance the living and recycling experience for everyone on campus. We have established groups and are currently working together to make Recyclemania accessible to everyone.

At the University of Idaho, everyone is pushing towards a greener campus.  While working hard and still trying to have fun, we are progressing at a steady rate.

Recyclemania

• There is a need for programs such as Recyclemania, because universities like ours have the potential to expand and become something greater.  We have created goals for ourselves and we expect to meet, if not surpass them.  Past experiences with Recyclemania on other campuses have shown an increase in recycling during the event.  With each year passing, it only gives us the opportunity to become a greener campus not only during Recyclemania but all year round.
