Course Description
LibS 421/ 521 Acquisitions and Collection Development in Libraries
(3 UI). Evaluation and selection of books and other materials
for libraries; analysis of community library needs and interests. Research project and paper
required for graduate credit. Prerequisite
for LibS 521: instructor permission.
Required: access to Internet and UI Library's database (see instructions in study guide).
