Independent Study in Idaho (ISI) was created in 1973 by the Idaho State Board of Education as a cooperative of four accredited Idaho institutions. Member institutions include:

Quality Distance Learning

- Take up to one year from the registration date to complete
- Satisfy prerequisites
- Take courses to resolve on-campus scheduling conflicts
- Credits transfer to most colleges and universities
- The premise of ISI courses is that the enrolled student will be an independent learner; courses are not designed for students who desire a high level of instructor contact or feedback.
