ALUMNI BROTHERHOOD ACTIVITIES

  Delta Omicron holds specific events aimed at brining alumni back to the chapter house and the UofI campus. These events, namely the annual golf tournament and homecoming tail gate party, are a time for our alumni to meet the active members of our chapter as well as a great opportunity to meet up with brother they may not have seen in a while. Please take some time to check out the upcoming events and consider making the trip back to the chapter house to meet the actives and other alumni.

[HOMECOMING]
  Every year for homecoming at the University of Idaho the Delta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nu has it’s annual House Corporation meeting and elections in the den at the chapter house. This meeting is open to all alumni interested in House Corporation discussions as well as those that would just like to stop in and share their ideas or comments. With the addition of an Alumni Advisory Board we have tentatively scheduled their first semester meeting of each year to run in conjunction with the House Corporation meeting.

  After the meeting the active members set up a tail gate party for our alumni in attendance at the Kibbie Dome parking lot or at the chapter house. There is always BBQ & beverages and then it’s off to the game. This has always been a wonderful opportunity for alumni and actives to interact as well as a time of reunion for alumni who have not seen each other for a while. Over the past years we have also seen a few class reunions during this time. [ALUMNI OF THE YEAR AWARD]
  The Delta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nu has had a tradition of recognizing and celebrating alumni who go above and beyond their duties to help support the chapter. To recognize these alumni the actives award “The Alumni of the Year” award each year to one or more outstanding alumni. This award will now be given out at the annual Memorial Alumni Golf Tournament in Moscow. Check back soon to see some of the past winners of this award!

[EVENT IDEAS AND RECOMMENDATIONS]
  Part of our commitment to our new Alumni Program is expanding the events we hold for and with our alumni. If you have an idea or would like to help organize a new alumni event in Moscow or another area don’t hesitate to contact the Alumni Contact Chairmen or the Chapter Advisor who will help you with planning and coordination. Please be sure to also check out the calendar of events in the members section. All of our events are open to alumni who would like to come back and join in the fun!”
