I hope you all had a good summer and are looking forward to
racking up some miles this fall. For those of you who weren't paying
attention last spring, my name is Erik Arnson and I took over the
Presidency from Ray Massey.
It seemed that some of you might be interested in the recent
Club "goings on" so I will briefly summarize. The Palousafest
had a good
turnout by Club members but a poor one by the public. Thanks go out
to
Greg, Mitch, Paul and Ann for priding their
mounts for display! It was an
impressive lineup! Summer rides went well the beginiing of the break
but
attendence tappered off towards the end. Our largest turnout was 7
riders
(and it was a blast!). Some new routes were scouted and these will be
presented at upcoming meetings.
The Student Activity Expo was held on September 4th, from 10:30
-
3:30 at the SUB Lounge and Patio. The details were somewhat
sketchy
but I do know that set-up starts at 9am.
Saturday rides are still on and anyone who is interested
should
meet at Ted's Burgers around 10am tomorrow. Bring a friend as a
passenger
or one that has just got a bike, the more the merrier! Our next
meeting
is September 4th at 5:30pm at the Family Housing Center on Taylor.
