Delphine is the program director of the Graphic Design program in the Department of Art & Design. She graciously volunteered to direct the development of this project while the traditional direct, Sally Machlis, is on sabbatical leave.>
Project team
Rob Bastholm - lead Web designer
Rob is from Edwardsville, IL and studies navigation in the Human
Factors graduate program. In his free time, he focuses on helping
others with Linux/GNU, OS X, Windows, and automotive research. Rob’s
career aspirations include the development and design of open-source
automotive navigation software, vehicle interiors, personal computer
and automotive input devices, and general software.
Teva Palmer - lead design coordinator
Teva has been using her graphic design skills to create an overall design for the high school art show. Design began with poster ideas, and developed into skinny posters and wallet cards, as well as sharing and converting files to make a unified look for the entire art show. She also wrote and maintained the project brief for this exhibition, defining the project details, calendar, and production requirements. She also served as the art director coordinating the team effort.
Teva is working towards her BFA in Studio Art, with an emphasis in graphic design and interaction design. Her hometown is Moscow, Idaho.
Derek Knox - budget
Derek is from Cheney, WA and studies various programs involved with computer graphics and interaction in the Virtual Technology & Design program. He is also striving for a minor in writing, something he enjoys when the moment births.
He also enjoys ice hockey and snowboarding and belongs to both club teams at University of Idaho.
His contributions to the 17th Annual High School Art Exhibition include the Initial Letter, initial print/research/bids, tubes & mailing, updating the Idaho High School addresses excel file, budget estimates, and coordinating with Chris Cooney, Director of University Web Communications, to develop a home page feature for the High School Art Exhibition.
Mark Little - usability testing
Mark Little is from southern Oregon, and when he is not wasting precious time in online gaming, he is working on web usability with the University of Idaho. He will soon be completing his Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Factors. His immediate goals include employment and the paying down of significant debts, but eventually Mark would love to do software usability for video games. Mark has a beautiful wife named Megan and two dogs, Icarus and Nyx.
Mike Wilson - Filmman.
Mike is preparing a 30-second film for this site. It is panned for a December 2007 release. Stay tuned.

Yolanda Taylor - designer
Yolanda is studying Graphic Design and becoming more interested in web design. She has been Teva‘s right-hand helping organize the group. She helped develop the prize hand-out to catch the attention of the reader. She has also been keeping contact with University Communications to develop news releases for this exhibition. Additionally, she is working closely with the University Bookstore to get donations of U.I. "gear" for prizes and the University of Idaho Jazz Festival to coordinate the exhibition opening with Jazz Festival activities.
Josh Fletcher - artist
Josh developed several poster designs, helped round-up the prizes and helped with project photography and layout design.
Also assisting in this project: Yan Yin Lee, Mike Anderson, and Chun Tse. All are too shy to include a description of their helpful contributions.
