advising

All students in the department of Art & Design are assigned a faculty advisor by the department office. Departmental advising takes place mid-semester each term and allows for departmental undergraduate and graduate students to meet one-on-one with Art & Design faculty to discuss a myriad of issues, review degree progress and to select courses for the coming semester.

Degree advisors are listed below. They will advise you about course selection, degree requirements, disseminate information about the department, college, and university, and direct you to various resources around campus. These advisors will also assist you with career planning decisions, helping you improve your study and time management skills, and other problem solving techniques.

If you have not been assigned an advisor then please contact the Department of Art & Design office at, 208.885.6851
